Replacing the Susan B. Anthony coin was a dollar coin with Sacagawea, the Native American woman who helped Lewis and Clark's expedition succeed.   Congress created the Federal Reserve System on December 23, 1913, with the signing of the Federal Reserve Act by President Woodrow Wilson.
